Lauren and Zach’s wedding day was one of those days that simply felt good to be part of. There was an ease to everything, the kind that comes from two people who are genuinely loved by everyone around them. Throughout the day, guests kept sharing stories about their kindness, their selflessness, and the quiet way they make people feel seen. It was clear that this wedding wasn’t just a celebration—it was a reflection of who they are.

They spent their morning at The Ellis in Italian Village, a space that fit their style perfectly. Clean, modern, and warm, it set the tone for a day built on timeless choices. The guys in tuxes, the fall florals that pulled in subtle texture without overwhelming the room, and Lauren’s dress—classic and stunning in the most effortless way.

Before the ceremony, we went to the Ohio Statehouse for portraits. The marble, architecture + clean feel really gave the perfect backdrop for photos. Lauren and Zach moved through it all so naturally. There were no big performances or forced moments, but so many sweet moments between them and their bridal party.

Right before the ceremony at The Ellis, a small sprinkle of rain came through—just enough for everyone to pause, laugh, and call it good luck. And as quickly as it arrived, it disappeared. The payoff came later in the form of a perfect golden hour. The light softened, filtered through the buildings, and added a subtle warmth to everything. It was one of those moments you can’t plan for but always hope for.

Their ceremony and reception carried a quiet confidence. The details were classic, from the black-and-white checkered dance floor to the florals that tied the whole space together. It all looked like Lauren had pictured it from the start—timeless without trying to be, elegant without feeling too formal.

And then the band took over for the night. If there’s one thing that can instantly elevate a reception, it’s live music. They set the tone from the first song, and the energy never dipped. Guests stayed on the dance floor, laughing, singing, and fully enjoying the moment. Watching Lauren and Zach move through the room—with their families, their friends, each other—felt like watching a day come together exactly as it was meant to.

Review from the couple –

Stevie was by far the best decision we made while wedding planning. Not only is she extremely talented in her craft, but an incredible person to work with. Stevie was so much more than a photographer— she assisted in the details of wedding planning, was a perfect person to bounce ideas off of, and was so supportive through the stress of it all. Stevie quickly became a friend and someone to lean on through wedding planning. She is very fast at delivering photos (we received previews the very next day!!) and was an amazing communicator every step of the way. I really cannot recommend Stevie enough. You want someone talented, personable & trustworthy to capture the most special day of your life, and Stevie is just that.
